The NAMTA Foundation Art Scholarship Program
The NAMTA Foundation believes the enduring vitality of the creative and visual arts industry lies heavily upon the shoulders of today’s art students. For that reason, the Foundation annually awards scholarships to help students offset secondary education costs. Scholarship checks are sent directly to the university, college or technical institute, including international schools, and may be used for tuition and/or books.
The NAMTA Foundation Educational Scholarship and the NAMTA Foundation Visual Arts Major Scholarship funds are governed and administered by the NAMTA Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2008 NAMTA Foundation Scholarships. The number and amount of scholarships shall be determined each year by the NAMTA Foundation Board of Trustees. For more information on the NAMTA Foundation Scholarships, contact us at 704/892-6244.

I would like to express my deep appreciation for the scholarship that NAMTA has granted me. I was so surprised when I heard that I had been selected! I’m sure there were many other excellent candidates and that it must have been a difficult decision to make. I am so grateful that you chose me.
For some students, college is a given, but for me it has always been a distant dream. Because of the generosity of the members of NAMTA, I am well on my way to accomplishing that dream. Please extend my thanks to your membership and let them know how much I appreciate their help.
